Rabbits can die of loneliness.
I cannot begin to imagine the pain of subjecting myself to a communal lifestyle, all in the name of such a sweeping statement.
Severing all of my limbs would surely pale in comparison.
If the home that has been prepared for me is contrary to my desires, then I will run. I will run. I will escape.
I will do anything to realize my dream.
As much as I hate exerting myself, I will do so.
That is my creed.
| P A R A G R A P H 2：
I understand why we have been dispatched to this land.
However, I would argue that there has been a glaring error in the selection process.
I take no pride in the mission that I have been given.
All I have is the spirit of defiance.
There is only one course of action that someone such as myself would take…
I begin running as quickly as my legs will carry me.
I darted in the opposite direction of my countless comrades.
I struggled to escape from the sweet fragrance that relentlessly pursues me.
I ran away.
| P A R A G R A P H 3：
I indulge in idleness. I neglect my work.
There are various actions that this world would attribute to sloth.
Still, I believe that such actions are a trap.
The act of sleeping is respectable in and of itself.
Essentially, the fact that you have work to neglect is proof that you are bound by something.
I want to continue languishing.
I want to continue languishing for as long as possible.
If I could, I would languish for the rest of my life.
| P A R A G R A P H 4：
I desire a lifestyle rivaled by no other.
In other words, I wish to lie down and do absolutely nothing.
However, there are far too many things in this world that would hinder my goal.
As such, I have begun my search.
I seek a world of solitude, where there will be no one to interfere with my desires.
| P A R A G R A P H 5：
I have languished for several days without rest.
My instincts are speaking to me.
At this rate, I will no longer be able to preserve my life.
My round eyes now resemble the red eyes of a rabbit, and an overwhelming sense of exhaustion continues to encroach upon me.
In order to resist the restless waves of fatigue, I… must…
| P A R A G R A P H 6：
In my dreams, I see the cause of my slothful nature ― my father.
I recall the phrases that my abnormally diligent father would often say.
“The process is more important than the outcome.”
“Your efforts will eventually be rewarded.”
Such were the sickening platitudes that left his mouth.
Nevertheless, I loved my father for continuing to push forward, even after I failed to gain the approval of those around me.
I loved him until he hung himself before my very eyes and denied his entire life with a single declaration, “I am a failure…”
| P A R A G R A P H 7：
It would seem that I have been asleep for quite some time.
As my consciousness returns to me, I bear witness to the grim reaper herself.
“You will surely entertain me, will you not?”
I see a ghastly pile of corpses, the faces of which are no longer recognizable.
Such is what remains of those who were dispatched to this land alongside me.
Atop the corpses stood the princess ― her bewitching gaze pierced through me.
||Umm. Let me go.|
I guess I’m wasting my breath, aren’t I?
||Of course you are.|
||You’re wasting our time, too!|
| P A R A G R A P H 8：
While I am not unharmed, I suppose it is something of a miracle that I am still alive.
“If I can just get through this… then my ideal lifestyle will be a stone’s throw away.”
I refuse to halt my progress, even as I cower in fear at the footsteps trailing behind me.
“The only way to evade failure is to avoid conflict altogether.”
By the time such a thought could even begin to cross my mind, it was already too late.
||Oh. That’s no good.|
You’ve got to do a more thorough job of destroying it.
||It’s going to run amok!|
||It’s going to go berserk!|
| P A R A G R A P H 9：
My body is battered.
My consciousness is fading.
My ingrained instincts awaken, devouring what little remains of my mind.
Ｍｏｒｅ power… more ｂｌｏｏｄ.
Ｇｉｖｅ ｍｅ the power to satisfy the princess.

“Ａｈａ，ａｈａｈａｈａ！ Ａｈａ… Ｉ ｃａｎ ｆｅｅｌ ｉｔ ｃｈｕｒｎｉｎｇ ｉｎ ｍｙ ｈｅａｄ ― ｐｏｗｅｒ ｉｓ ｃｏｕｒｓｉｎｇ ｔｈｒｏｕｇｈ ｍｅ！“
Illuminated by the moonlight was a howling beast, ruled by instinct.
“Might you be a Nightmare? A human, perhaps? Oh, but it matters not. You certainly do seem capable of making me suffer.”
Kaguya called out to the beast with a beckoning hand.
||Ｗｅ ａｒｅ ａｌｌ ｐｌａｙｔｈｉｎｇｓ， ｃｒｅａｔｅｄ|

The rabbit attained the ideal world she so desired.
Finally, she could languish for all eternity, without anyone to control her.
It was a world known only as death…
“As I thought, she too was inadequate.”
Kaguya gazed wearily at the moon as she felt the heat within her body rapidly subside.
As always, the moon above bore the image of a solitary black rabbit.
